GRAND OPENING

Scheduled, documented visual checks for homes while their owners are away.

WHY HOME WATCH. You may recognize 1st Defense Inspections, we have been serving the Florida Panhandle from Pensacola to Panama City since 2010. We have inspected over 17,000 properties, delivered more than 35,000 reports and have over 2,000 Google reviews. So why are we opening 1st Defense Home Watch? Because we have seen first hand what can go wrong when a home sits vacant. A slow leak, storm damage, a door that will not latch, a window left open. A lot of it starts small and goes unnoticed because nobody is there to see it.

WHAT WE DO. We visit your home on a schedule we set together, and every visit is documented. We check inside and outside and send you a written report with photos.

HOW IT WORKS. 1) Tell us about your home and how often you want visits. 2) We agree on a checklist with you. 3) We visit and walk the inside and outside. 4) You get a written report with photos after each visit. 5) We call you if something looks wrong.

WHAT WE LOOK AT. Water leaks or moisture. Roof, gutters and exterior. Doors, windows and locks. Signs of storm damage. Signs of pest activity. Anything different from the last visit.

WHO IT IS FOR. Second homes. Vacation rentals. Snowbirds. Deployed or PCS military members. Homes sitting in probate. Anyone away more than a few days.

Please note: home watch is a visual check and a report. It is not a home inspection, and we do not make repairs.
